Trumpet 4
Rev 8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon,
and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of
it, and the night likewise.
...and the day... Is it just one day, one week, one month, one year or until Jesus comes back?

Thayer Definition:
1) the day, used of the natural day, or the interval between sunrise and sunset, as distinguished from and
contrasted with the night
1a) in the daytime
1b) metaphorically, “the day” is regarded as the time for abstaining from indulgence, vice, crime, because acts of
the sort are perpetrated at night and in darkness
2) of the civil day, or the space of twenty four hours (thus including the night)
2a) Eastern usage of this term differs from our western usage. Any part of a day is counted as a whole day, hence
the expression “three days and three nights” does not mean literally three whole days, but at least one whole day
plus part of two other days.
3) of the last day of this present age, the day Christ will return from heaven, raise the dead, hold the final
judgment, and perfect his kingdom
4) used of time in general, i.e. the days of his life.
Part of Speech: noun feminine

Trumpet 5
Some try to connect the 4th trumpet to Saddam because of the oil wells he set on fire and use trumpet 5 to make
the connection by going back and forth. It doesn't work like that.
Lets weigh the evidence
Beasts, mountains, heads and horns symbolize leaders and kingdoms, but do angels. The answer is no they don't
symbolize leaders or kingdom.
Daniel 10:13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of
the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
Rev 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew
tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
The king is an angel not a man.
This is not something that takes place in a desert:
Rev 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing,
neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
Who are the men with the seal of God in their foreheads?
According to the word of God there was a group of men that did not suffer but everyone else on the planet did.
Rev 7:2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a
loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Rev 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the
earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
Now you know who has the seal of God on their foreheads.
292 people were killed during the Gulf War in 1990-1991
Rev 9:5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months:
and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
Many say that these are Apache Helicopters but they are designed to kill not torment:
Rev 9:3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the
scorpions of the earth have power.
These things that come out of the smoke are from the enemy not the good guys that went after Saddam.
This is just more evidence that the 5th trumpet may have not sounded as some claim.
The four angels of Rev 7:2 - Could they be the angels of Rev 9:14 Saying to the sixth angel which had
the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
Rev 9:15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year,
for to slay the third part of men.
The simple answer is, no they are not. Angels that are bound have sinned against God while in Heaven and one day
satan will be bound for a thousand years.
The star that fell from heaven
Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the
ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Rev 9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the
key of the bottomless pit.
Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought
and his angels, Rev 12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the
whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
If we use scripture to interpret scripture and not make events fit the word of God, then the 5th trumpet may begin
with satan being cast out of heaven and he begins his wrath upon the world. I am no expert but I'm just not
convinced that the 5th trumpet had sounded.
Trumpet 6
This is the first mention of the beast: Rev 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that
ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand
in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Mat 24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Mat 24:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Mat 24:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
Mat 24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
Mat 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor
ever shall be.
We know from studies that the agreement will be for 7 years or as the book of Daniel says, for one week. Also
according to the scripture the anti-christ will show up after 3.5 years during that agreement and that's when the
great tribulation starts. When we read the book of Revelations we don't find anything about the anti-christ until
after the sixth trumpet(Rev 11:7) so that would put the first 5 trumpets before the great tribulation starts.
Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the
word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
The first century church and throughout time, the church has suffered horribly either in prison or in death. To say
that this only applies to the tribulation saints is nothing but supposition.
