If the book of Revelations is not in chronological order, this is what to expect:
Isa 13:9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate:
and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
Isa 13:10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be
darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
Isa 13:11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the
arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
Joel 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day
of the LORD come.
Comes as a thief - How many times 1 or 4
1Th 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with
a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be
burned up.
Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou
shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked,
and they see his shame.
Rapture:
Mat 24:29-30
Rev 6:12-17
Rev 11:15-19
Rev 16:17-18
1Th 5:2
2 Peter 3:10
Rev 3:3
If the book of Revelations is in chronological order then Jesus would come back a total of four time. If it is not,
then the seals, the trumpets and the vials tell the same story of his return but with different levels of detail and
the end result is the same. Another thing to consider would be the "tribulation saints." Do they get raptured
during the seals, the trumpets or the vials if it is in chronological order?
Former rain and latter rain: Have not done the study on this yet but it does look promising
Rev 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest
yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should
be fulfilled.
Joel 2:23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former
rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first
month.
Most agree that the end time church will be greater than the beginning church. What most don't understand is
that the persecution will also be greater. "But God isn't going to beat up his bride before he comes to get her!"
He is coming back for a bride without spot or blemish - So what ever it takes for her to get there it will be done to
her.
Rev 6:11 could be about the early church and the persecution they went through, but God is telling them we are
on the way and in the same manner they got there.
Lets take a closer look at Revelations 3:3
Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not
watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
...thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee...
What is being said here is this - If you hold fast, repent and watch, you will know what hour he will come.
Biblical proof of a post tribulation rapture.
Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of
Jesus.
Lets break down this scripture from a pre-trib perspective:
- This is referring to the Jews and the Christians
- According to Zechariah 13:6, the Jews , as a whole, will not accept him till they see him
- The Jews have not kept the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus
- The tribulation saints that got left behind did not keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus
Results: The only ones that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus are the children of God that
make in the rapture. When the rapture happens, the ones that get left behind are the ones that have not kept the
commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Nowhere does it say that they started keeping the commandments
of God and the faith of Jesus after the rapture happened. In my opinion it is a presumptuous belief to say that this
scripture has nothing to do with the church as a whole and it is for a left behind church. He died on the cross one
time, he will be coming back one time.
When did the Apostle Paul expect to be raptured and is it immanent?
2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together
unto him,
2Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from
us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first,
and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Some contend that this is making reference to the second coming of Jesus and if this is not the rapture, then Paul
will be caught up in the second coming. As he wrote ....for that day shall not come.... What day is he referring to?
The day of our gathering. It is a 'day' not 'days' and it is one gathering on one day.
He also taught against immanent return. "...for that day shall not come, except..."
Grammatical structure:
2Th 2:6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of
the way.
Who is the 'he' that Paul is talking about? The word 'he' is making reference to the one that is being talked about
in the previous verses. The son of perdition is the object of 'he' being spoken of by the apostle Paul not God.
When God comes back, he, the antichrist, will be taken out of the way not God. God is omnipresent and he will not
take himself out of the way.
2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and
shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
Verse 8 speaks about the Lord judging the antichrist then in verse 9 he makes reference to 'him' who comes
"after" the workings of satan. When trying to understand the word of God we must remember to keep things in
proper grammatical structure. When God takes the antichrist out of the way the world will see the wicked one
that has blinded them.

If you noticed the words 'shall that' are not part of the original word of God. Don't misunderstand me on one
thing, I think the KJV is one of the safest Bibles out there, but it is a version and it has some basis in it especially
the modern version.
When God comes back he is going to make known to the world what was hidden from them after the antichrist is
taken out of the way.
Is the book of Revelations in chronological order?
If the book of Revelations is in chronological order, this is what you should expect:
Second Coming
Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give
her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Rev 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun
became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
Rev 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were
moved out of their places.
Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
Third Coming
Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this
world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be
judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear
thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
Rev 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his
testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
Fourth Coming
Rev 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the
vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
Rev 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple
of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
Rev 16:18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was
not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
